Network members pitch ideas for discussions NOW!!!

Based on various interest we have been hearing from network members, we here at Docskool think its high time we organise certain discussions inside the network on film based issues. Unlike a training or a workshop program, this we believe should enable ourselves to take lead, do some researches and point out issues where Nepali cinema is failing or where we as the new bunch of wild filmmakers can change. We want you to take the lead and propose topics within which you think a discussion would be interesting. This has been designed to allow ourselves to take lead so no filmmakers or other people will be called rather it will be us pointing issues, presenting our papers and letting all of us to discuss on it. All discussions will be backed up a week in advance as a forum discussion in our site and in Facebook before the final discussion becomes a presented paper posted on our website. So people, get your brains tickling and propose ideas for discussions. The next discussion is roughly planned for SUNDAY 23rd May; we can think more on the dates based on your feasibility. I see here that you guys at Docskool are always using the word ART and ARTIST refering to films and filmmakers. I would find it interesting if we oculd hold a discussion on , "The Film Director as an Artist and the Film as Art". I have been doing some researches on this and would love to take it up. Looking forward to your replies. Cheers

i lov the concept of pitching ideas for discussion but the timing is little odd for member me ....... is it possible to shift on every Saturday.....
