Introductory Workshop on Film: SERiES 2
Docskool organises a series of workshops on film technicalities for
its members all of June.
Series 2 Workshop on Film shall feature the following workshops:
1. Introduction to Film Sound
- A practical approached program shall deal with the concept of film
sound, basics of acquiring a proper sound and working for
enhancements. The session will comprise orientation sessions on
working with Pro Tools and location based sound devices.

2. Advanced Editing traits
- Aiming to promote editing as an advanced art form, the workshop will
focus on familiarising fresh filmmakers with working fast on
non-linear editing setups and to have a personal stance while editing
is done.

3. Advanced Scriptwriting
- Working in limited time frames to familiarise the participant in
easy scriptwriting methods, the program shall focus on scripting as an
independent form of expression and in establishing it as a backbone to
creative filmmaking.
