The Documentary Open Skool (Docskool) is a film networking platform open to all ages and groups of people. The network works on membership basis which allows an individual access to the various activities held by docskool and a lifetime membership of the Docskool film Resource Centre ( with annual renewal).
NETWORK MEMBERSHIP
If you are interested in joining us as a member, please fill in the attached form and mail it to us. For formal authentication of your membership you are supposed to visit us at our office in gaurighat with a completed form where further formalities will be completed. Memberships are offered all year long but membership preferring guided facilitation which happens every year between March to October must be filled in by the end of February every year.

VOLUNTEER/ INTERNSHIP
Docskool is always on a look out for film aspirants who would like to collaborate with us to work for cinema. Volunteer positions at Docskool donot just refer to already available work but also positions which we prefer creating based on interests shown by individuals. Volunteers are preferred to be Docskool members.
Internship positions are paid short term occupancy which are announced at certain time depending on the inflow of work. We are mostly looking for interns during our screening seasons which falls in late summer.

Artist Residency
Docskool provides residency options for film students or visual artists who are interested in working in nepal to promote cinema here. Residency often refers to positions where we seek individuals interested in conducting participatory film related exercise which mostly take place in outstation cities.
Artists on residency are offered logistics and certain pay depending on feasibility. Please contact the chief program coordinator for further details.
Technical Internships @ ( Short Film Factory)
The Short Film Factory (SFF) is a specific film label destined to work in the creation and promotion of films with short lengths. Designed as the stage two facilitation for Docskool members, SFF provides funding possibilities for cinematically sound individuals looking for their first professional break.
Technical internships are positions made available for various crew members who can apply and work on the basis of prior merit. Productions are operating all year round and application is a possibility for interested individuals who have a sound merit on the work they are applying for.
